LeAnn Hilgers Motivational Minute™ Goals!
It’s time for LeAnn Hilgers Motivational Minute™
Do you have just one minute to hear how you can set your goals?
Everyone needs something to work towards – personally. Your personal goals are about what you want out of life. They are not assigned by someone else and they are to help you become a better person.
If you don’t write your goals, they remain a wish!
Here are some tips to writing goals.
1. Goals should be challenging but attainable. You should push yourself to achieve but you should be able to achieve your goals.
2. Goals should be measurable. If they aren’t measurable, you will never know if you have achieved them. For example, if you want to be a kinder person, think of things you can do which represent being a kind person then write, something like, “I will do 3 random acts of kindness, today,” or “I will help my neighbour/parent/friend by doing ______blank_______, today.”
3. Goals should have a time limit. The above goals, included the word “today.” Write down what you want to accomplish in a particular day, week, month, year and 3 years. If you don’t put a time limit on your goals, you will push them aside for things which seem more urgent.
Remember, this is about you getting what you want, so make it a priority. You deserve it!
